What we do, in plain terms
HALready GmbH is the engineering team that gets called when a product owner needs a 60 GHz mmWave radar function that has to clear a notified body, survive a procurement audit, ship to volume, and still detect what it is supposed to detect five years later in a real factory or care home. That is a narrow specialisation. We have built it deliberately, because it is where independent engineering still adds disproportionate value compared to a captive team or a generic consultancy.
We do not sell components. We do not sell training. We do not run an internal product roadmap that competes with our customers. The work is the V-Model from requirements to start of production, executed by senior engineers who have shipped radar and safety products before.

Founder and Managing Director, HALready GmbH
Lukas founded HALready to do safety-critical embedded engineering the way it should be done: as an integrated practice, not as a chain of subcontracted specialists. His background spans embedded software architecture, distributed systems, RF integration, and functional safety. Projects he has led or co-led ship today in homes, factories, hospitals, and on bicycles. He works directly with clients on every engagement, not behind an account-management layer.
His written and spoken languages are English and German. He works hands-on across the architecture, code, schematic, and safety case layers of the products HALready engineers.

The engineer who scopes your project is the engineer who builds it. No bait-and-switch from a principal in the pitch to a junior in delivery. Our team is small by design.

You speak with the engineers working on your product. No account managers, no project-coordinator filter. Bi-weekly written status, open risk register, direct line for technical questions.
Source in your repository from day one
Code, schematics, FMEDA, safety case, all pushed to your version control as we produce it. No vendor lock-in, no "we will hand it over at the end". You own what we build.
Process maturity that maps to your QMS
Our engineering process produces work products aligned with ISO 9001 and ASPICE Level 2 expectations. Your quality team can audit our outputs against their requirements, not against marketing brochures.

HALready GmbH is a German limited-liability company registered at Amtsgericht Stuttgart under HRB 800315, VAT identification number DE455166354. Professional liability insurance is held with Hiscox SA, branch for Germany, covering the Federal Republic of Germany. We hold no external investment and have no obligations to a parent organisation, which means engagement decisions are made on engineering merit and customer fit, not on a sales target imposed from elsewhere.
Where we are
Our office is in Balingen, in the south-west of Germany, about an hour by car from Stuttgart and ninety minutes from Zürich. Most engineering work runs remotely, with on-site presence for kickoff workshops, safety reviews, hardware bring-up, and customer audits. We travel across Germany, the EU, and to North America on a project-by-project basis.
